Hey guys! I thought this might be of use to somebody. It sure looks neat — I
might try it sometime!

1—Glass Giant Seed Beads, 3mm, 8 Grams by Fibre Craft
Black Opaque
Pyrex measuring cup
Knife
Plastic Eye Dropper with Screw-On Top, 2 per package
Soap Scent Liquid, 1 oz—Strawberry
Instructions
Prepare the mold
1—-Place six beads in each of the oval-shaped molds.
These beads will be the seeds in your watermelons.
2—The watermelon soap is made of three layers: pink, white and green.
You will melt and pour each layer separately.
Make the pink layer
Cut off 1/3 of the glycerin soap block.
Cut the third into chunks and them place in a Pyrex container.
Following manufacturerâs instructions, melt the soap.
Add the red color and scent, if desired.
Stir gently.
Slowly and carefully pour the soap into the mold so the beads arenât
disturbed. If the beads shift, use a toothpick to move them back in place.
Fill each oval shape a little over 1/3 of the way full.
Allow the soap to set-up and harden for at least 10 minutes.
When a thick skin has formed on top, proceed to the next layer.
Make the white layer
Cut off 1/4 of the coconut soap block.
Cut the fourth into chunks and them place in a Pyrex container.
Following manufacturerâs instructions, melt the soap.
Add scent if desired, and pour the soap into the molds, forming the next
layer. Allow the soap to set-up and harden for at least 10 minutes.
When a thick skin has formed on top, proceed to the next layer.
Make the green layer
Cut off 1/4 of the coconut bar.
Cut the fourth into chunks and them place in a Pyrex container.
Following manufacturerâs instructions, melt the soap.
Add scent, if desired, and green color.
Stir gently.
Pour the soap into the molds, forming the next layer.
Allow the completed soaps to set-up and harden.
Pop them out of the molds.<<

I’d be VERY leery of using beads in soap. You can make the “seeds” from
M&P. I’ve got a recipe around here somewhere that someone on another list
I’m on came up with a couple of years ago. I’ll try to find it and post it.
