tapioca starch can be purchased in a health food store. i wonder if
this another instance where one could take regular pearl tapioca and
    grind it down really fine?
where are you? i have some i only took alittle out of and will not
use again? i could mail this to you if not too much. shouldn’t cost
more than a couple of dollars.

Hi…I saw the thread about using Natrasorb or Tapioca starch in
lotions…can someone give me some guidelines as to how much? A
percentage to start with maybe? Thanks…Robyn in AZ

    ..Hi Robyn:
I use the natrasorb in all of my lotions and creams, even the whipped Shea.
What I do is start with a little bit and go from there. I usually make abour
a 20 ounce batch of lotion and I use between 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of
natrasorb depending on what type of oil that I use. Put it in when you put
in your preservative and fragrance. If you put it in while the lotion is
still hot it can cook and you will have a ruined lumpy mess, ask me how I
know. If you use too much you will end up having liquid powder so put in a
small amount test and go from there.
    Hope this will help you.
