rock salts

Hey out there. Can rock salt (the kind for making ice cream) be used
to make bath salts? If not, why? Thanks. I hope this isn’t a
really stupid question! Lisa

    If you can’t use rock salt, what kind of salt do you use? As a matter of
    fact, can someone give me a recipe for bath salt?……LOL…..I would
    really appreciate it.

    Lisa
    Use Kosher or pickling salt. Add a little powdered milk if you have it, a
    dash of food color and some scent. You can also add things like glycerin
    and oils in small amounts. Sea salt can be used also. Mix everything very
    well and package in a pretty tin or glass bottle.
    They’re quick and easy hostess or x-mas gifts. You can creative from there.
