With skeeter season just around the corner here in the Midwest…I’m
looking for a good homemade bug repellant. I’m thinking some kind
of spray would be better than a solid lotion…but not sure because
the lotion would be easy to travel with. What are your thoughts or
what have you made using citronella?? I’m getting requests for
something of this nature already!

We here at Akron Grove have put the citronella in
soap (good for those campers that bathe), Lotion bar,
and body spray. I guess anything that you would use at
camp or home can be scented with citronella.
