Hey guys!
This morning, I tried making a bar of plumeria-scented soap. I thought it
would be a nice springy scent. I ordered plumeria fragrance oil even though
I’m not much a fan of plumeria (thought it might be popular to sell). At
Bath and Body Works, I love the scent of their Plumeria lotion (and I
especially like the fact that it has shea butter in it — makes my extra dry
skin SO smooth!), but it’s just too strong for me. I like floral scents, but
I don’t like them to be very strong. Anyway, it’s amazing that I can dislike
B&BW’s Plumeria on myself, but when my friend Molly puts it on, it smells
great on her. Weird! Body chemistry, I guess. Well, I thought I would try
some plumeria FO for myself, and when I smelled it in the bottle, it was way
too strong and didn’t really smell all that great to me. I wasn’t so sure
that I liked it. But when I put some into this glycerin MP soap, oh my
goodness, it smells WONDERFUL!!! Isn’t that weird how scents smell
differently like that? I mean, this smells REALLY good. Just had to share my
experience.

Lisanne,
Just what I needed to hear. Personally I don’t like plumeria, but I ordered
some to make some MP for my mother. She said she liked it, so I did a
little research and picked a brand most people seemed pleased with. I got
it, smelled it in the bottle, and just couldn’t imagine. Now you’ve
motivated me to go ahead and give it a try.
Thanks,
Karen

Karen,
Anyway, in the soap, though, it’s awesome. You can control
my mother. She said she liked it, so I did a little research and picked a
brand most people seemed pleased with. I got it, smelled it in the bottle,
and just couldn’t imagine. Now you’ve motivated me to go ahead and give it
a try.< <
Yeah, I think I posted before that I bought mine from www.cedarvale.net, and
I’m very pleased with it. It smelled way too strong in the bottle …
definitely too floral-y for me. Scents like that actually make me nauseous
sometimes!
how much scent you want to put in it that way. You’ll have to let me know
how it turns out if you make some!
