I make, use, and also sell neck wraps. I make a long tube out of fleece, about 18 inches long, fill it about half full of rice, and sew up the open end. Heat it in the microwave for about 1 minute 10 seconds. Heat will last about half an hour. I first started making them because I have really bad arthritis in my neck. They are the only things that work for the pain. I fill it only half full, because I want it to drape very easily around my neck.
