Mica Powder

Was wondering how to use Mica Powder? I have used the liquid colorant
before.. but not mica… I know a little goes a long way..but do you
put it directly in the soap, mix it with a little water first? I
can’t find brown colorant.. and I’ve found the darkness that I need
in Mica powder but i’m dense when it comes to that! :) Kathy

    I’ve read the best way is to mix it with something- however if you’re doing melt
    and pour it’s probably better to mix with Glycerine rather than water. I like
    the results I get from just adding it directly into the soap- you just have to
    make sure you mix it really well.

    Mica will not incorporate in water and needs to be in the oil base,
    or possibly glycerin.
