Lotion, Body Glitter Pricing

June 28th, 2005 · 3 Comments

Hello everyone,
What do you all charge for your lotion and body glitter? I will be
offering two types of lotion, aloe vera and hand & body cream, in a 4
oz. bottle. I am not sure yet what size my body glitter will be.
Thanks for the information.

I am new and am enjoying this group so far! I have a question about
aloe vera. We have a ton of it growing in the house…any suggestions
on what we can do with this?
    Thanks!

When I was little my mom used to cut a leaf of and apply the “plant-blood”
directly to burns. Works wonders. I would be doing it now but we can’t get
enough sun in our house for it to grow.

    Cathy-
Aloe Vera pulp can be eaten as a digestive aid if the plants have not been
exposed to pesticides/insecticides. Most people cannot handle the texture
and taste, but it is a traditional internal digestive aid in alternative
healing practices for acid reflex and ulcers in the digestive track. You
remove the outer skin and pulverized the flesh to liquefy into a thick juice.
Indians traditionally used it mixed either with Yucca root (Agave
sweeteners) or Stevia (another alternative sweetener that can be used
internally as well as externally) Personally, I add both to smoothes with a
    protein scoop.
Also, this thick juice is great mixed with geranium and lavender essential
oils for REALLY bad sun burns. I personally use more lavender then geranium
but that’s because I struggle with the smell of geranium. I am still
processing the emotional part of geraniums smell. Geranium dilates the bile
ducts in the liver and I start to detoxify heavily. In Chinese Herbal
Medicine, the liver is traditionally the organ/merdian that holds anger. I
have other “oiler” buddies that just love it, but for me I detox to fast and
then I need to ground out because it makes to sick and nauseous (I am still
working through some severe childhood trauma).
Geranium and Aloe Vera also, make a great alternative deodorant if you have
the time to let your pits dry after getting dressed. This same combination
is great for razor burn as well. I also have used Aloe Vera and distilled
water to mix up my clay masks just so they are not so irritating to my skin.
I like to rotate between raw apple cider vinegar and then the aloe. Hope
this gives you some more ideas. Be blessed…
