Baby Barrier Cream recipe

October 28th, 2005 · No Comments

Alright, here is the recipe I came up with for the baby barrier cream. I
don’t have the ingredients but was hoping someone who does have the
ingredients would make it and tell me how it turns out?
BABY BARRIER CREAM
1/2 cup distilled water
2 chamomile tea bags
1 T. beeswax
2 T. coconut oil
3 T. avocado oil
2 T. grapeseed oil
2 T. safflower oil
2 T. stearic acid powder
2 tsp. witch hazel
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
1 T. Glycerin
1 tsp. vitamin E
4 drops rose essential oil
4 drops vanilla essential oil
In the microwave boil the water. Steep the tea bags for 10 minutes. Remove
the tea bags squeezing excess liquid. Meanwhile, slowly melt the beeswax with
oils and stearic powder over very low flame. Allow the stearic acid to
completely dissolve. Remove from heat. Mix tea with witch hazel, aloe,
glycerin, and vitamin E. Warm once again in microwave. Add tea mixture to
blender and blend on high. In a very slow, thin, steady stream add oil
mixture. Continue blending on high till thick and cooled. Add essential oil
and blend again for 2 seconds.
Thanks,
Tabitha
