My fix has always been to fill the biggest pot I have with water, bring to a
boil ad pour on the mound. Works instantly but may require that you go back
a day or two later to get the ones who weren’t home at the time.
Highly effective, cheap, environmentally safe.

I love it! I only wish that would work with gophers…
Anyone have any herbal suggestions for getting rid of gophers/moles?
We have so many in our yard that it caves in when you walk on it, but I
don’t want to kill the salamanders in my yard, so I haven’t tried any
poisons…
