Hello
A while back, I purchased some Aloe Vera Gel which I have only used
in one batch of soap & a facial gel.
I would like to make:
1. Another face gel using only aloe vera & essential oils
2.A facial sugar scrub using Aloe Vera & a few essential oils
(lavender, lemon & peppermint or tea tree), brown sugar (demarara)
Question:
What type of preservative would I need, if any?
Humble apologies if this appears to be a silly question it is just
that I have made this type of gel for myself although it was a small
amount it didn’t go off or contain any yuckies.
In addition to that the Aloe Vera gel that I purchased has been ok on
it’s own since October/November 2003 without a preservative - or
would it already have a preservative in it?
