Hey out there. Can rock salt (the kind for making ice cream) be used
to make bath salts? If not, why? Thanks. I hope this isn’t a
really stupid question! Lisa

Hello,
My name is Anouk van Aanholt and I am a non-degree student taking graduate
classes at George Washington University. I am working on a project about
about the Finnish sauna and the way it has been implemented in American
bathing culture.
Since I would like to include people’s opions about the sauna in my paper,

Hi, I’m trying to find out about dead sea salt. I’m attempting to
make my own bath salts and some of the recipes that I have seen call
for dead sea salt. What is it and do you know where it can be
purchased? And how is it sold? Please email me with any help,
advice, suggestions, etc. Thanks […]

Question about almond oil
April 25th, 2004 · No Comments
is Sweet Almond Oil the same as regular old (well gourmet) almond oil? because
the stuff in the health food store listed for cosmetic
purposes is almost twice the price of the cooking-even though cooking has got to
be purer.
thanks

I have two recipes for making bubble bath; one calls for a tbsp of
sugar, one calls for a tsp of salt. What kind of differences in
consistency, bubbles, etc. will this make? If anyone knows, please
tell me so I don’t make bad stuff!!
Thanks,
Beth

New to list

I’m relatively new to this list, but I have really enjoyed looking
around. I decided to make bath salts, lotion, bubble bath, etc. for
everyone for Christmas this year, and couldn’t find anything until I
signed on here. I have an order in to Camden-Grey, and can’t wait
until I get it so I can start making stuff! I […]
